Objective

This project required the creation of a concert poster for the artist Boy In Space. This poster had to be 100% original artwork and all elements except the text had to be illustrated.
No photography was used.

Process

Boy In Space is one of my favorite artists so i just put on his music and let the inspiration come from the lyrics used in his song Amnesia. I managed to come up with 3 different concepts taking into consideration the medieval tones in the song rhythm and lyrics. Overall, the concept that moved forward really embraced the vibe of the song and the artist.

The design was visually interesting and the airbrushed pastel finish on the poster worked well together. The challenge faced with this project was the typography and some color choices which worked out in the end.
