Objective
This project was part of a design challenge I started for myself. I put together the project brief with the help of my social media following on Instagram. The goal was to create the logo and branding with application for a jewelry business that created elegant, expensive and unique pieces.
Process
I began my process with sketching out different possible solutions for the logo, researching other high-end jewelry businesses like Cartier, Chopard and Tiffany & Co. I found that most of these brands have wordmark logos and decided to go down that same path but adding my own twist to the letters.
Using a serif font to boost the feeling of luxury and high quality, adding a custom ligature and tilting the 'O' to emphasize the uniqueness of the pieces the brand offers. I also created a logo sub-mark that can be used as a brand pattern.
