Objective

Sip & Snack is a coffee company that is releasing its new flavored whole bean coffee. The company wants to embrace a chalk pastel illustration finish on their packaging and would like an illustration inspired by the name of the coffee.
Custom typography is also required.

Process

The process started off with thumbnail sketches of designs based on honeycombs, dew drops and incorporating the fluidity and energy you experience when drinking coffee.

Multiple color options and coloring styles were explored and after careful consideration the appropriate color scheme of browns and golden yellows moved forward.

The custom typography was created having the lines differ in weight and consisted of slab-serifs and spiral ends to add to the overall unique character of the packaging.
